Jack The Giant Slayer (2013)

Jack The Giant Slayer (2013) is a fantasy adventure directed by Bryan Singer and written by Darren Lemke, Christopher McQuarrie and Dan Studney. It is based upon the fairy tales "Jack The Giant Killer" and "Jack And The Beanstalk".

DADDY: What did you think of the movie?

LILLY: I thought it could be better. It was too long.

DADDY: It did take a bit to get going but it was fun when they got to the giants land Gantua.

LILLY: Yes. I think Movie World should have a beanstalk ride.

DADDY: I agree.

DADDY: Who was your favourite character?

LILLY: Jack (Nicholas Hoult) because he was brave and tried to save the princess even though he was afraid of heights.

DADDY: I liked Elmont (Ewan McGregor) because he was a man of honour.

DADDY: What was your favourite moment?

LILLY: I thought it was good when the beanstalk grew out of the giant and he died.

DADDY: It was quite a violent film, was it too much for you?

LILLY: Every time a giant killed someone I couldn't look.

DADDY: They weren't very nice chaps. I liked the bit when the giant made sausage rolls out of whole pigs and people. It made me feel quite hungry.

LILLY: Lol!

DADDY: Would you recommend it to your friends?

LILLY: Yes but it might be too violent for some of them.

DADDY: How many stars would you give it?

LILLY: Five out of ten because I didn't think it was that good.

DADDY: I'm giving it six. I did like the end but it was a bit too long.

LILLY: I thought it was going to be better, I have to say.

DADDY: I liked it almost as much as the first one. I really liked the Nightcrawler.

LILLY: It wasn't as good as the first film.

DADDY: Who was your favourite character?

LILLY: Wolverine.

DADDY: He is the coolest but I thought the Nightcrawler was interesting.

LILLY: What do you mean.

DADDY: He looks like a devil but is very religious.

LILLY: Oh.

DADDY: What was your favourite moment?

LILLY: I don't really have one.

DADDY: Really? I like the beginning in the White House and the attack on the school was pretty cool.

LILLY: I was a little confused at the beginning.

DADDY: Would you recommend it to your friends?

LILLY: Not unless you have seen the first one. But if you have then yes.

DADDY: Yeah you have to see X-Men first.

DADDY: How many stars would you give it?

LILLY: Five.

DADDY: I thought it was almost as good as the first film. I'm giving it fourteen

DADDY: Would you like to see the third movie.

LILLY: Of course.

DADDY: It is his movie and they use him to introduce the X-Men and ...

LILLY: Rogue?

DADDY: Yeah.

DADDY: What was your favourite moment?

LILLY: My favourite moment would have to be when the senator turns up at the beach naked.

DADDY: Why?

LILLY: Because it is funny.

DADDY: And we get to see Stan Lee!

LILLY: Yes we do!

DADDY: I like when Wolverine gives Cyclops the rude finger.

LILLY: With his claw?

DADDY: Yeah I thought it was really funny. Snickety snick!

DADDY: Would you recommend this to your friends?

LILLY: Of course I would. Would you?

DADDY: Oh yes. Excelsior!

LILLY: Lol.

DADDY: How many stars would you give it?

LILLY: Twelve stars from me.

DADDY: I'm giving it fifteen

DADDY: Would you like a superpower?

LILLY: Yes I would like Wolverines healing ability.

DADDY: What did you think of the movie?

LILLY: I thought it was OK.

DADDY: I thought it was a bit boring and not nearly funny enough. Without your sharp elbows I would have slept through the whole movie.

LILLY: Yes that's true.

DADDY: Who was your favourite character?

LILLY: That would have to be...I don't really have one.

DADDY: I kind of liked the three little aliens with Liverpudlian accents, because they were cute.

LILLY: Lol.

DADDY: What was your favourite moment? Can you think of one?

LILLY: Can you?

DADDY: No it wasn't very good.

LILLY: I have to agree.

DADDY: Would you recommend this to your friends?

LILLY: Yes but as a rental maybe.

DADDY: There are a lot of better movies you could see.

LILLY: Yeah.

DADDY: How many stars would you give it?

LILLY: Three.

DADDY: I'm giving it two.

DADDY: It should have been a lot more fun and I didn't hear you giggle much.

LILLY: No I didn't.

DADDY: I thought the funniest bit was me falling asleep.

LILLY: Yes.
