DADDY: What did you think of the movie?

LILLY: I thought it was great and exciting.

DADDY: Me too it was my favourite film when I was younger and I still enjoy it now.

DADDY: Who was your favourite character?

LILLY: My favourite character is Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) because he is always on an adventure.

DADDY: Me too, but you said he was a bit of a show off.

LILLY: He's also that.

DADDY: I think he is just good at what he does.

LILLY: I agree.

DADDY: What was your favourite moment?

LILLY: My favourite moment is when the big guy with the sword appears and he just shoots him.

DADDY: I like that too and the bit with the mummies.

LILLY: Yes.

DADDY: Indy was supposed to have a fight with the swordsman but Harrison Ford had a funny tummy so he asked if he could just shoot him instead.

LILLY: LOL.

DADDY: Would you recommend it to your friends?

LILLY: Yes because it is a great film.

DADDY: How many stars would you give it?

LILLY: Eleven out of fifteen because I didn't understand some bits

DADDY: All the stuff about Nazis and magical Jewish boxes could be a bit confusing I suppose but I am giving it fifteen stars because it is the best.

DADDY: When I was younger I taught myself how to use a bullwhip because of this movie.

LILLY: LOL.

DADDY: I hurt myself quite a bit.

LILLY: LOL.

DADDY: Mum thinks the second film is too scary for you.

LILLY: Don't tell her we are gonna watch it!

The screenplay is again written by David Koepp and loosely adapted from Michael Crichton's novel The Lost World. Dinosaurs have secretly survived and roam freely on a deserted island but that is about to change.

This week we are joined by our new puppy Stella the Wonder Dog.

DADDY: What did you think of the movie?

LILLY: I thought it should have explained things better at the begining and I didn't get why everyone was on the island.

DADDY: Yeah but it had some good bits.

LILLY: I guess.

STELLA: Woof!

DADDY: Who was your favourite character?

LILLY: Malcolm's daughter Kelly (Vanessa Lee Chester) because she was curious.

DADDY: I liked the hunter Roland Tembo (Pete Postlethwaite) because he was the most interesting character and he changed. Pete Postlethwaite was one of my favourite actors.

STELLA: Woof!

DADDY: What was your favourite moment?

LILLY: When Malcolm realised his daughter was on the island.

DADDY: That was a good bit. I liked the dinosaur hunt because it was really exciting and they had some great toys.

LILLY: I liked that too.

STELLA: Woof!

DADDY: Would you recommend it to your friends?

LILLY: Yes because it is still exciting and funny.

DADDY: I thought the first one was better.

LILLY: I have to agree.

STELLA: Woof!

DADDY: How many stars would you give it?

LILLY: Eight out of fifteen because it should have explained things better.

DADDY: I agree and I'm giving it only ten.

STELLA: Woof, woof woof, woof, woof woof, woof, woof!

DADDY: I don't think Stella liked seeing the dog get eaten.

LILLY: Lol.

DADDY: Would you go to a zoo if they had dinosaurs?

LILLY: No because they would probably kill me and I'm too young to die!

STELLA: Woof!

DADDY: Yes Stella I think dinosaurs are better when they are bones too.

Jurassic Park (1993)

Jurassic Park (1993) is a science fiction film directed by Stephen Spielberg based upon the novel by Micheal Crichton with a screenplay by him and David Koepp. At team of investigators are put together to assess the safety of a wildlife park filled with cloned dinosaurs.

DADDY: What did you think of the movie?

LILLY: I thought it was good but a bit hard to understand. It didn't explain things properly.

DADDY: They tried to. The main problem for me is that it takes too long to get going.

LILLY: Yeah.

DADDY: And I don't think it does a very good job of explaining the science for kids.

LILLY: I have to agree but the animation is very nice.

DADDY: Twenty years later and it still looks great. Some of the best computer graphics ever.

LILLY: Really?

DADDY: Yeah.

DADDY: Who was your favourite character?

LILLY: Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) because he doesn't like children at the beginning but changes his mind.

DADDY: He's my favourite too but I also like the mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm  (Jeff Goldblum).

LILLY: I think he is very cool.

DADDY: What was your favourite moment?

LILLY: When the lawyer  (Donald Gennaro) gets eaten after leaving the kids.

DADDY: That is quite funny, he is such a creep.

LILLY: Yes.

DADDY: My favourite moment is when the kids are being hunted by raptors in the kitchen.

LILLY: It was too scary!

DADDY: Would you recommend it to your friends?

LILLY: I would recommend the film because it was scary and had good animation.

DADDY: How many stars would you give it?

LILLY: Ten out of fifteen because it was exciting but didn't explain things very well.

DADDY: Thirteen for me because it needed to get going quicker but it is great when it does.

LILLY: Yeah.

DADDY: Do you think it would be a good idea to bring back dinosaurs?

LILLY: No because as you saw in the movie everyone would die.
