The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008)

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) is an adventure sequel directed by Rob Cohen and written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.

DADDY: What did you think of the movie?

LILLY: OK, I didn't like the actors who played Evelyn and their son but I did like the action.

DADDY: I don't think it worked setting it in China.

LILLY: Yes I have to agree.

DADDY: Who was your favourite character?

LILLY: Rick (Brendan Fraser) again because he can't do anything without a gun.

DADDY: Yeah he is the best one in it. Jonathan (John Hannah) was hardly in the film.

LILLY: Yes they should have had more of him.

DADDY: What was your favourite moment?

LILLY: It's really hard to say because nothing was really that good.

DADDY: I agree, I think my favourite moment was when the credits rolled at the end.

LILLY: Lol!

DADDY: Would you recommend this to your friends?

LILLY: No because it really isn't very good.

DADDY: Sadly you are correct.

LILLY: Yes.

DADDY: How many scarabs would you give it? .

LILLY: You mean yetis?

DADDY: OK, how many of them?

LILLY: Two.

DADDY: Two for me too.

LILLY: It wasn't even a proper mummy movie.

DADDY: I know and it sucked.

LILLY: Yes.

  1. Sorry that both you and Lilly had to sit through it! If anything it makes you realise just how good the first Mummy film was

At least the franchise is over now and you can move on!

    K :-)

  2. Lilly was so cross that Rachel Weisz wasn't playing Evelyn and she really didn't take to Luke Ford as their son either. I wonder what the 2014 reboot will bring...
